Happy Anniversary!!!

Oh what a beautiful morning Oh, what a beautiful day!!!

Do you remember the day you woke up and thought "I Am GETTING MARRIED TODAY!"

Paul and I have been married for eight years. Life is busy and doesn't seem to slow down. This morning I was happy to be the first to say "Happy Anniversary!" Paul kissed me good bye as I laid in the bed like every morning. I began my normal Tuesday getting the kids breakfast and getting things ready for gymnastics. I got to talk with my sister Anngela got things ready which is always fun for me. Gymnastics was a little different today. I decided it would be fun to have a little summer splash party, so we spent the morning outside splashing in the water. (I love being outside in the sun!) My great friend Kat Belyl was so good to take my kids for a couple of hours so that I could meet Paul for lunch. We had some tasty Cafe Rio and then went over to the Hallmark store to purchase our traditional precious moments keep sake. We found one with a father and boy roasting marshmallows and making smores. My FAVORITE thing about camping is making smores. Paul and I have a system he roast the marshmallows making sure that they are browned and I have the graham crackers ready while I melt the chocolate over the fire. They are VERY MESSY but so good. We also thought it would help us remember our first camping trip just with our little family this year.

I look forward to a new year and the many adventures that our in store for us!

Once on This Island

I am very excited to announce that the musical "once on this island" will be preformed at the Lehi High school on August 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14, and 15. Tickets are $8.00.

This is my very first production that I have lines to sing!!! I will be honest singing in front of people isn't my most comfortable thing to do, but I am really excited for a chance to stretch myself. It has been so much fun to learn a new musical and meet new friends.

So You Think You Can Dance Auditions!

Friday July 24th was spent at downtown Salt Lake with my two sister Brennda and Breanna aditioning for the reality tv show So You Think You Can Dance. We had so much fun hanging out and dancing around. We got to chear for some of the people running in the 5k. I thought it was really funny as one Lady walked by and asked "What was on SALE" .

I was so excited for my sister Brennda that made it to the second round. She got to meet the "judges" and had some extra interviews. I am really looking forward to watching the episode when they came to Salt Lake to see if we made it on any part of the show. I was very excited to hear that my picture appeared in the Desert newspaper. It was fun to have some random guy shooting pictures of me while putting on my makeup. Anyone that knows me well, knows that I love any spotlight I can get! So for me I got my little bit of publicity and I am as happy as can be!

Happy Happy Birthday Hannah dear,

It is hard to believe that my little girl is seven!

I look forward to an afternoon of posting pictures and updating our summer time fun! When that afternoon will come is hard to know.

Fourth of July celebration!

We stuck with tradition and attended the Murray Parade. I love getting out there with my sister and cheering and yelling for the floats! We cheer to try to get the wonderful salt water taffy! It is great to see grown ladies out in the street running around for little pieces of taffy, but it sure is fun!

It wouldn't be the fourth of July without a BBQ.

We decided to go home and have our very own BBQ. We had it in our front yard, so we could enjoy the shade. (If we ever buy a different home we will be much more picky on the direction the house faces.) The kids thought it was so much fun to get to eat outside, and we got to watch the neighbor do some fireworks.
We enjoyed fireworks over by thanksgiving point.

Fahter's Day 2009

Oh, how we Love our DAD!

I am very lucky to NOT have married one of those guys. That gets home from work expects dinner on the table, and then as soon as they are done eating are of to sit in front of the TV for a couple of hours before retiring to bed.

So, what does Paul do when he gets home from work. Some days dinner is ready and on the table while other days he helps me finish things up and sometimes he even makes the dinner all together. He is wonderful to sit and talk to the kids about their day while we eat, and then he rinses, drys, and puts the dishes away while I wash. This is something we have done together from the very beginning. The thing I love the very most is that it is our time to talk to each other about our day. Once things are cleaned up it is not uncommon to find Paul reading, or playing some kind of pretend with Connor. He is great at taking time to read stories with the kids after helping to get pajamas on and brush teeth. I can not say that we have both been really happy when the kids finally could all get dressed without much assistants. Paul is very good at taking care of the evening things while I have attended meetings or rehearsals, and has been such a great support to make it possible for me to be involved in things that I really enjoy.

I really appreciate Father's Day. It give me a chance to reflect on all the many things I really appreciate from my husband. With that said I am happy to say,

"I MADE A GOOD CHOICE!"For breakfast we made Dad crepes' with strawberries and coolwhip. We all enjoyed a tasty breakfast together.

As for gifts we got Dad a baseball mitt, a football, a couple of shirts and a bunch of hugs and kisses. Paul has been very supportive through out the year as I have been involved in a few different plays. I thought it might be fun for Paul to know how much I want him to be able to be involved in things that he enjoys.

Ten Year Reunion

There are many people that don't really care much for reunions and things. However, I am the type of person that LOVES them. So you can imagine my disappointment when I found out that not only my ten year reunion, and Paul's twelve year reunion (They didn't have a ten year so someone decided to go a head and plan a late reunion.) are scheduled on the same day, and it just so happen that the musical I am participating in has its closing night on the same day too. I love to see people that I haven't seen for a long time and hear the fun little details of how life is going. And it looks like I will NOT be attending. I guess I can be happy to know that my life has moved on and I am not just sitting around waiting for the next High School activity.

I am happy for face book. Paul went a head and added me to his, so I have been able to find out where some old friends from high school are. I am really not very good at keep in touch with people, but I do enjoy hearing about how life has turned out for each of us in the last ten years since we've been out of High school. I think it is a bit amusing how no matter how old you are it's commone to look at people younger and think I hope I was never that dorky, but in all reality we probably were.
